Reading, Leicester City and Turkish side Trabzonspor have all joined Ipswich Town in the race to sign released Manchester City forward Emile Mpenza.
Previous reports had suggested that Stoke City were also interested but Stoke City boss Tony Pulis denied any interest in the former Hamburg and Schalke frontman.
Realistically, Leicester City can be discounted as Mpenza, who no doubt carries high wage demands, would almost definitely snub a move to League 1 which makes Ipswich Town, Reading and Trabzonspor the favourites to land him.
