Ipswich will strengthen one of the worst defenses in the league by signing Richard Stearman on loan on Tuesday morning.
Blues boss Mick McCarthy knows the 25-year-old from their time together at Wolves and belives he can help plug a leaky back line.
Former England U21 international Stearman has struggled to get games at Molineux this season and has made just eight starts in the Championship.
He may not be brilliant but he has to be better than what we have at the moment.
