There was satisfaction all-round for the Blues at Wolves.
Manager Mick McCarthy returned to the Molineux with something of a point to prove and left his successor Stale Solbakken fighting for his managerial life.

Town got off to a great start when Aaron Cresswell finished with his right, a rare sight, and always looked in control.

Town defedned well, although Wolves hardly bared their teeth and the game was won in the second half.

DJ Campbell raced clear to stick away his 10th goal since joining on loan.

Wolves fans booed their team off, we cheered from the rafters and big Mick, who has heard it all be fore, left with a huge grin on his face.

A thunderous reception as he walked to the dugout and, 90 minutes later, the boos ringing at Molineux

Aaron Cresswell`s third goal of the season and yet another from DJ Campbell gave McCarthy`s Ipswich victory and leaves them just one point behind Wolves – when they met in November the gap was 14.
