Time To Cash In?

If Ipswich are going to look to move forward next season and get closer to promotion back to the premier league the better players need to be kept.

That’s sometimes easier said than done.

Aaron Cresswell has attracted plenty of reported interest with Leicester City most recently growing the list of players interested in the 24-year-old defender; that also includes Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Aston Villa.

You do wonder just how much of the transfer fee Mick McCarthy would be given but if nothing else you would hope that the board would put a significant amount of it towards wages for the squad rebuilding.

Keeping Cresswell would be the priority for all I’m sure but maybe, just maybe, it’s time to strike while the irons hot and cash in on the defender while his interest is so high and his selling value could be at it’s premium?
