Hungarian striker Tamas Priskin says he still wants to remain at Ipswich despite being out of the first team at present, and has turned down a loan switch to Charlton.

Priskin only joined the Blues in the summer for £1.7 million but has returned just two goals. In his defence, he hasn’t been given that many first team opportunities and has struggled to settle, which hasn’t been helped by some ‘fans’ getting on his back.

Manager Roy Keane is known to be looking for a striker in the January transfer window, so it may be the case that one departs before one joins the club.

League One promotion chasers Charlton are said to have offered a loan stay to the 23-year-old, but he is determined to prove himself at Portman Road.
