Veteran midfielder Sylvain Legwinski has said that he may retire from football after he was not offered a new deal at Portman Road.
The 34 year-old was voted the Supporters Player of the Year for the 2006/07 campaign which included goals against Colchester and arch-rivals Norwich for which he was later induced into Town folklore.
However, he was forced to miss pre-season to the end of last season which ultimately limited his first-team chances. He only went onto make nine starts the entire 2007/08 season.
He said: ‘I enjoyed my time at Ipswich very much. It was a good move for me to join the Club and being voted player of the year was very special.
‘I have to speak to a few people before I make a decision on my future. There may be one or two clubs that might be interested or it maybe that it is the right time for me to retire from football.’
