Ipswich will be represented at the World Cup this summer by defender Tommy Smith.

The 20-year-old’s decision to switch allegiance to New Zealand has payed off after being named in the final 23 man All Whites squad that will go to South Africa in just a few weeks time. Smith has only one cap to his name so far, but hasn’t been a New Zealand international for that long.
