Kevin Lisbie could be joining FA Cup fourth round opponents Southampton despite being on loan with Colchester.

Ipswich are known to be willing to listen to offers for the Jamaican, but he won’t be joining the U’s on a permanent deal, with our A12 rivals unable to afford him.

It could be the case that a club comes in for Lisbie, and he is sold towards to end of the transfer window after being recalled from his loan with Col U.

Alan Pardew, the Southampton gaffer, previously managed Lisbie at Charlton but was the one that ended his long stay at The Valley.
