Royle Frustrated

Joe Royle has been frustrated in his search to sign a midfielder on loan for the club.

It was rumoured that Royle was after Wigan’s Alan Mahon, Matt Holland or Carl Fletcher of West Ham, but he has had no success on any front.

‘I made enquries about a couple. They were the same players we have asked about before but we got the same results.’

Nobody expects Royle to give up that easily!
