Young and highly-rated Yeovil left back Nathan Smith is widely reported to be a target of Ipswich in the summer.

With his contract up this summer, he has been offered a new deal with the League One side but is thought to want to play at a higher level as a number of Championship clubs are reported to be interested along with Town, including Sheffield United and Reading.

Shane O’Connor is the only recognised left back at the club with David Wright being released. Tommy Smith and Jaime Peters have both played there, but manager Roy Keane is likely to want to sign a natural left back this summer.

I don’t know much about him, but he was still playing non league football with Potters Bar just two years ago, is 6 foot tall and the Yeovil fans I’ve spoken to say he is quite quick. It’s one to watch over the next few weeks.
