Roy Finally Gets His Man

Ipswich are fast turning into a mini-Sunderland, with Roy Keane going back to his former club for striker Daryl Murphy.

The Republic of Ireland international was a target for most of the summer, but rejected a permanent deal at Portman Road along with Dean Whitehead. But Murphy has since changed his mind having made only three appearances in the Premiership this season, and will look to help keep Ipswich in the division, and who knows, maybe even a late play-off charge?!

He certainly knows what it takes to get out of this division, for he was in the Roy Keane side that won the league in 2007.

The 26-year-old joins on loan to the end of the season and is likely to go straight into the Town side to face Middlesbrough this weekend.
