Today’s reports have revealed that League One outfit Northampton Town may swoop for Ipswich Town’s talented young striker Jordan Rhodes later this transfer window.
Northampton Town, who have previously loaned Rhodes’ fellow Town striker Dean Bowditch, are on the look our for a new striker. Most Town fans would agree that Rhodes would more than fit the bill for the Cobblers.
Boss Jim Magilton is reportedly keen to find Rhodes a club where he can gain invaluable first-team experience and a loan spell with Northampton would appear to match the criteria.
The prolific youth and reserves striker has had previous loan experience with Blue Square Premier club Oxford United where he netted total of 3 goals over a handful of appearances.
