The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Ipswich Town and Derby County this Saturday.

Ipswich Town host Derby County on Saturday December 30 for the game at Portman Road and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Oliver Langford
Assistant Refs: Lee Venamore and David Avent
Fourth Official: Andy Woolmer

Match Day referee Langford has officiated 23 games in 2017/18, showing 76 yellow cards and three red cards so far.

He took in 44 games in 2016/17 with a return of 129 yellows and five red cards.

His highest card count that year was nine yellows in the game between Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers.

He took in 41 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 99 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Burton Albion and Millwall on December 1 with a total of seven yellows being shown, along with one red.

Langford is a very experienced match official, with nine seasons as an EFL referee under his belt. As part of the PGMO development programme, he has officiated in the Dallas Cup and Algarve Cup. He has now refereed nearly 200 EFL matches.
