It comes to something when even non-league players refuse to join Ipswich.
But that is what has happened after Barnet winger Keanu Marsh-Brown said he would be better off staying with the Bees than moving to the Championship with a club treading water at best.
Explaining his decision to the Harrow Observer the 21-year-old said: ‘Training is great, it is the way I like to play.
“Everything`s technical, and it is a great achievement playing under Edgar; not everyone can say that they have played under him. He is a great player and manager.
“I just want to get my football back on track. If this means staying here for a couple more years, then that`s what I`ll do.
‘I want to become a better player and push on with the team.”
Town need a new defender and another striker as they struggle to convince people they are anything other than relegation strugglers yet again.
