Man of the match Daryl Murphy described Ipswich’s 3-0 win over play-off chasing Millwall and the best he has been involved in.

He told the club website: ‘That was brilliant, we scored three goals and kept a clean sheet so we are very happy.

“The performance was definitely the best I have been involved in this season, we had a good shape.

‘Stephen Henderson was excellent. He pulled off two or three saves in the first-half and that quality ran right through the team. Everyone was on top of their game.’

Murphy netted his fourth of the season and has looked a different player since McCarthy took over, and since playing as a centre forward.
