Ipswich Town youngster Sammy Moore has been told by Jim Magilton that he is surplus to requirements at Portman Road and is now free to look for another club.

Moore has spent the majority of this season on-loan at League Two outfit Brentford, where he has by all accounts impressed with his solid performances in the centre of the park.

Nottingham Forest and Leeds are reportedly eying up Moore who was part of Town’s famous youth team that won the FA Youth Cup in 2005. Wet Sham were reported by a tabloid to be looking into the possibility of signing the youngster for a sizeable fee but that is looking highly unlikely.

I am sure that everyone concerned with Ipswich Town will wish him all the best for his career that no doubt will be a successful one.
