Tony Mowbray has joined the long line of managers who don’t want the poison chalice that is the Ipswich job.
Mogga told the Middlesbrough Evening Gazette: “I would have to say my heart is at this football club.
“In my opinion I`ve got the best job in the world at the moment.
“Ipswich is a lovely club, I met my wife in Ipswich, I love the area and it`s a fabulous football club. It`s sad to see where they are at the moment.
“But I have no interest in the job and have had no thoughts about it. I`m quite happy to be ruled out of the reckoning.’
Many Town fans would love to have Mogga back but he can’t be blamed for showing loyalty to his home-town club.
A Matt Holland/Alan Curbishley combination is looking good, while talk of Ian Holloway is most probably just him using Ipswich to get a better deal with Blackpool or another job elsewhere.
