Match Day referee Madley has officiated 15 games this season, showing 47 yellows cards and zero red cards.

His highest card count this season was eight yellow cards in the game between Brighton and Nottingham Forest.

He took in 40 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 118 yellow cards and three red cards.

After an injury playing at Huddersfield Town academy Madley took up the whistle in 2002 at the age of 18. He has twice refereed at Wembley, taking charge of the FA Vase Final in 2015 followed shortly afterwards by refereeing the League 1 Play-Off final between Preston North End and Swindon Town.
