Magilton Happy As Walters Deal Completed

Town boss Jim Magilton is delighted to have completed the signing of Chester’s Jon Walters.

Walters has signed a three and a half year deal, for a fee that could reach £250 000.

Magilton said: ‘He’s got a physical presence about him and has an edge and a hunger and I like that in a player,’ Magilton told the club’s official website.

‘He has a terrific work ethic about him and has the desire to move forward and I’m sure he is at the right club to do that.’

Walters, who will wear number 19, is cup tied for tomorrows game with Swansea, but should be presented to the crowd before kick off.
