Joe Royle could be without a fourth midfielder for the game at Derby as on loan Monaco player Jimmy Juan suffered a freak training ground injury.
With Westlake and Garvan out with ankle injuries and Horlock with rib trouble, this latest blow is not good news for Ipswich.
Juan was involved in a freak collision with Westlake who was involved in light training after a 10 game absense, and required several stitches to the inside of his mouth.
