Town are struggling to put out a competitive eleven ahead of the weekends cup tie at Watford.

Lewis Price is set to continue in goal, but that is the only position that is certain.

David Wright and Dan Harding should continue in the full back positions, however, Wright could be forced to cover in the heart of the defence.

Alex Bruce could either be partnered by Fabian Wilnis, Richard Naylor or returning skipper Jason De Vos. Wilnis should play, but has been struggling with a foot injury of late. Naylor is suffering from a badly bruised toe, and is considered doubtful, while De Vos has been out for around a month after cracking a metatarsal in training.

In midfield Gary Roberts returns from his ban, but Owen Garvan starts his following his red card at the weekend. Gavin Williams is very unlikely to feature as he is recieving inflamitory injections for his pelvic injury. Sylvain Legwinski has been struggling with a long-standing hip problem, but seems fine to play through the pain. Jaime Peters looks set to continue in a bid to help his work permit application.

UpFornt is where Magilton has the real injury headache, Alan Lee is suspended, while Jonathan Walters is cup tied, Billy Clarke is dreadfully short of form, while Danny Haynes seems unable to buy a start, despite his performances from the bench.

Magilton could plump for a combination of the two, but it is more likely that george O’Callaghan or Gary Roberts could be employed there. Although Richard Naylor could be deployed in his former posioion, but only if he is fit, and so is another centre half.

Whatever side Town do put out, they will find it tough against a combative Watford side, that are beginning to find some form in the league.
