Jewell’s Desperate Double Canary Move

Paul Jewell will make a last ditch effort to keep his job by trying to sign Norwich duo Andrew Crofts and Aaron Wilbraham.

While it it would seem hugely improbable that the Canaries would allow Wales international Crofts to leave, the flop that is former MK Dons striker Wilbraham is more likely to be allowed out on loan, especially to Ipswich.

Wilbraham did make a good touch which set up Steve Morison for Norwich’s fourth goal against Burnley but he has managed just one goal of his own in eight starts and eight substitute appearances for the Canaries this season.

For Jewell to even contemplate moving for these two players shows a desperation and it is unlikely either would be welcomed by Town fans who would rather see Jewell leave now.
