Paul Jewell has refused to get involved in the rumours that Ipswich are in for Rangers and USA midfielder Maurice Edu.
Ally McCoist yesterday admitted he was resigned to losing the midfielder and Ipswich fans on Twitter immediately linked him with a move to Portman Road.
However, it seems more likely the 26-year-old international will join Blackburn, with Wigan, Cardiff, Bolton and Watford also in the hunt.
No doubt he would love to sign a player of Edu’s quality but speaking at the Ipswich Town open day Jewell said he would not talk about Edu as he was still a Rangers player.
