Mick McCarthy is looking to sign Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson but faces a scrap from Leicester City for his signature.
The Bhoys centre back, who was previously with Nottingham Forest, has a year left on his contract at Celtic Park, but is seeking a move back to England.
The Foxes were linked with Wilson last summer and are still interested in him and it could be the 27-year-old is out of Town’s reach.
