I Say Giles – Fancy Joining Ipswich?

The word on the rumour mill has it that Ipswich are on board with a raft of other clubs in the race to sign former West Brom winger Giles Barnes who is currently at Doncaster Rovers.

Celtic, Burnley and West Ham, are the others keen on the 6′ 1” former England Under 19 international who can play wide or as an attacking midfielder and whose contract runs out next week.

He has made a dozen starts and eight substitute appearances since joining Rovers in August 2011 from the Baggies who signed him from Derby County.
