Reports claim that West Brom and Belgium defender Carl Hoefkens is set to join Ipswich as a replacement for Alex Bruce.
Bruce admitted that there had been no contract offer from Town thus far, despite hinting that he wants to prolong his Blues career. The report claims that the ex-Birmingham defender is set to be on his way out in January.
30-year-old Hoefkens moved to Stoke City in 2005, where he spent two years, from Belgian side Westerlo. He moved to the Baggies in 2007 for £750,000 and helped them into the Premiership but has since fallen down the pecking order.
