Colin Healy has become a Falkirk player until the end of the season.

He only made five appearances for Ipswich since joining from Cork for £75,000 in the summer.

Bairns boss Eddie May believes Healy is an outstanding player that will aid their efforts for success. He said: ‘It has been well documented that I want to add a midfield player and a forward to the squad during the January transfer window and Colin was my first choice midfield player.

‘He is a player of outstanding ability and perhaps more importantly is renowned for his determination and winning mentality. We are creating an environment at this club which demands that we get success and Colin will assist us in this area.”
