Midfielder Colin Healy and goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett are understood to have agreed new contracts with Ipswich Town.

31-year-old Healy joined Town from Cork City in July 2009 and has been a regular fixture in the first team under Paul Jewell since January, scoring two goals. Meanwhile keeper Lee-Barrett, 27, enjoyed a good run of league appearances in the latter stages of the season ahead of regular first-choice Marton Fulop. The pair were offered new contracts in April with their current deals set to expire this summer, and both are expected to put pen to paper on Monday.

Healy and Lee-Barrett are the latest players to commit themselves to Town, with Damien Delaney, Carlos Edwards, Luke Hyam and Ronan Murray having already extended their contracts. Reports also suggest that young trio Jack Ainsley, Troy Brown and Conor Hourihane have agreed new terms with the club, though there has been no official confirmation as yet.

Blues boss Jewell has said that he expects to know more about the future of his squad members in the next week or so. ‘I spoke to the players a week or so back and we said let’s talk about it when the season is finished,’ Jewell told the Club’s Official Website. ‘We’ve spoken a million times about this, that and the other. The decision will be made by the players. It’s not the Club’s decision.’

‘We’ve made the players the offers and I fully respect any decision they make. Hopefully it will be a positive one for us, if not we wish them well and they move on and we will move on.’

Captain David Norris and defender Gareth McAuley look likely to be two of those set to move on this summer. McAuley was believed to have agreed terms but never signed his contract, whilst Norris has looked destined to leave for some time with Crystal Palace, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic all reportedly seeking his services. Brian Murphy is also set to leave having turned down his contract offer in the last few days, whilst Billy Clark, Pablo Counago, Reggie Lambe, Kevin Lisbie, Ian McLoughlin and Alan Quinn are also leaving Portman Road this summer.
