Garvan in Full Eire Squad

Ipswich Town’s star midfielder Owen Garvan has been selected by new Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapottoni for Ireland’s summer training camp and two subsequent friendlies.

Garvan was originially named in a provisional 40 man squad but has evidently done enough to earn himself a spot in the full squad.

However, Jon Walters, Alex Bruce and Alan Lee all find themselves out of the squad with Walters and Bruce looking likely to feature in a ‘B’ fixture later on in the year.
