Scott Mitchell is out of action until January after undergoing a groin injury.
The 20 year old fullback hasn’t played a single game this season after suffering ankle ligament damage at the end of the last campaign.
‘The ankle is fine now and Scott was back in training for two or three weeks before he started suffering with the groin problem,’ Town physio Dave Williams confirmed to the Club website.
‘We took him to a specialist and it was found that he needed surgery to repair the groin.
‘The operation has been a success and he should return to training around Christmas time.’
