Ipswich fans predict all or nothing for Town in tonight’s derby according to Vital poll
It’s the big derby game this evening and Vital Ipswich have been asking you for your predictions ahead of kickoff.
Tonight could be one of the most significant East Anglian derbies for several years, with arguably both teams still having something to play for as we head into the final few weeks of the season. 3rd-placed Norwich are fighting for a second successive promotion to the Premier League following their League One title win last season, with a place in the Championship’s top two still at stake. For Ipswich however, a win on home turf would not only gain them revenge for their 4-1 pummelling at Carrow Road earlier in the season, but it could see them head into Easter weekend just 3 points off the Championship playoff places.
So, what do you think the result will be at Portman Road tonight? That’s what we’ve been asking you this week, and here’s what you had to say:
44% – Win
44% – Lose
8% – Draw
4% – No idea

Even though Ipswich Town themselves have grown remarkably in confidence under the leadership of Paul Jewell, it seems the fans still aren’t too sure of a positive result for the Blues tonight. An equal number voted for a Town win or a Norwich win, whilst only 8% predicted honours even – a similar outcome to that of an identical poll carried out before the 4-1 defeat for Roy Keane’s side in November. The result contrasts with that of Canaries fans, with a recent Vital Norwich poll revealing that around two thirds are predicting an away win this evening. It seems if Town are to take the points tonight, they will need to prove a lot of people wrong…
