Ipswich went into the weekend meeting with something of an India sign hanging over their opponents, and they kept this run going.

Coming back from a goal down Ipswich extended their unbeaten run against Derby County (away) to eight games with a 1-1 draw at the iPro Stadium on Saturday afternoon, as we became the first side to take anything from Steve McCLaren’s team at home this season.

Chris Martin (13) eventually put Derby ahead. His first header was saved by Dean Gerken the Johnny Russell effort to follow-up was cleared off the line by Jonathan Parr but Martin eventually forced the ball home.

A penalty appeal was survived by Town as Derby went into the break one-nil up.

Mick McCarthy said he wanted more goals from Christophe Berra (52) and he got another as he headed home just after the break from a Paul Anderson freekick.

Lee Grant denied Anderson soon after and then Teddy Bishop, turning his effort over the bar with Martin heading a Cyrus Christie cross over and putting another shot wide with Leon Best heading a good chance over as the game ended in a one-one draw.
