And in his latest blog CMC wonders whether The blues will continue where they left off in November and go from strength to strength?

Dazzling December for Ipswich Town?

As we move towards Christmas Ipswich have already been through four distinct chapters in their season: Appetizing August with 13/15 points, Shapeless September with 5/12 points, off-beat October with 3/15 points and then Nifty November with 10/12 points. So then, which side of the Town will prevail in December and will it be depressing, debatable or truly dazzling December?

Daryl Murphy had scored no goals in August, September or October but once we passed Bonfire Night there’s been no stopping him and he’s been on fire with his meteoric rise up the championship goal scoring charts and all this in just three games!

So what will December have in store for Ipswich supporters? Two more televised games against Middlesbrough (Friday 7.45 pm) and then a week on Saturday (12th December at 12.30 pm) against MK Dons.

We’d love to see results like the 3-0 win away at Charlton last weekend but what can we expect?

Mick and Terry’s work is paying off now and if September and October were our lowest point of the season then we could be in for a very exciting rest of the season.

We are currently 7th despite the slips and that’s a pretty good position in a marathon at this point in the season.

A win against high flying Middlesbrough this Friday evening would really show our intent.

Hold onto your seats – it might be another roller coaster ahead or another cliffhanger or dare we even contemplate that we could become the runaway train in 2016 if we could maintain the current form?

Time will tell. Here’s to a dazzling December for Town fans!
