Ipswich Town have been linked with a summer move for Northampton’s promising young goalkeeper Mark Bunn who has been valued at a sum of £1 million.

Bunn, 23, is just one of a long list of goalkeepers who have been rumoured to be on Town’s radar, joining the likes of Thomas Sorenson, Richard Wright and Alan Mannus as a potential Town target.

The London-born keeper is extremely highly regarded amongst the Northampton faithful and it will, according to their chairman David Cardoza, take a club record bid to prize him away from Sixfields.

However, Town will have to compete with Nottingham Forest for his signature as the newly-promoted club are known to be in hot pursuit of Bunn.
