The Spaniard sustained the injury in the 1-1 draw at home with Sheffield Wednesday back in January, but is now in contention for Ipswich’s next reserve game against Luton next week.
‘He has worked very hard to get back to fitness and it’s a case now of building that up and perhaps getting a reserve team game under his belt,’ physio Matt Byard told the club site.
