DJ Campbell will not extend his loan stay with Ipswich in January.

He would consider staying if Town stumped up enough cash for QPR, but that could all change if Mark Hughes is sacked an a new man wants to utilise Campbell who has four goals for the Blues.

‘I wouldn’t extend the loan. But I would look at a permanent move,’ campbell said on Radio Suffolk.

‘It’s definitely something I would look at in January. We’ll see what happens. I haven’t quite made my mind up over what I want to do yet.’

‘My decision to come here was spot on. We’ll look at things in January and see what happens regarding Ipswich and QPR.’

‘I’ve loved my time here. The fans have been good to me. We’ve got a great bunch of players and a great gaffer.

‘Him and Terry Connor [assistant manager] have been great since they’ve come.’

the former Blackpool striker has been decent for Ipswich even if he has been in just two winning sides in the 16 games he has played.
