Two cracking goals from Daryl Murphy and Paul Anderson got Ipswich back to winning ways.
After a disappointedly poor first half when Town just did not perform Ipswich turned it around in the second after a half-time rollicking from Mick McCarthy.
First of all Murphy hit a scorching drive to put Town in front with a bit of help from David McGoldrick.
Then Anderson capped things off late on with a fire individual goal finished in style.
The win pushed Ipswich back into play off contention and ended a run of six games without victory.
