The Daily Mail has today reported that Premier League side Middlesborough have made an enquiry over Ipswich Town’s star midfielder Owen Garvan’s availability.
Garvan has attracted the interest of several other top-flight clubs, including Wigan, Everton and West Ham, but Ipswich are understood to be keen to hold onto the Republic of Ireland international.
However, Garvan’s contract runs out at the end of next season which means that if the young Irishmen should choose not to sign on with Town, he is likely to be sold this summer to prevent him leaving on a Bosman next season.
