Blues Trot Out Another Away Draw

With Ipswich finding it impossible to win away, and Bolton failing to win at home all season, there was a certain inevitability that this would finish as a draw.

And so it came to pass, although Town’s safety first approach almost cam unstuck when Christophe Brra conceded a free kick on the edge of the box, which earned him a booking.

Medo Kamara beat the wall and the despairing Dean Gerken, with the free kick.

Town levelled in the 75th minute when David McGoldrick grabbed a rare away goal for himself. The Town striker had aright footed volley blocked but was not to be denied as his follow up left foot striker sailed in.

A point’s a point and Town had other chances which they squandered, Daryl Murphy, Paul Anderson and Ryan Tunnicloffe in particular might have done better.
