Blues Hammer 10-man Leeds

Let’s not beat about the bush here if Leeds defender Tom Lees had not had a rush of blood to the head and whacked Jay Tabb so high, so hard and so late, then Town would be languishing nearer the bottom rather than be 16th.

For the first half an hour Ipswich were being battered by Leeds with Scott Loach making a couple of vital, if not particularly convincing, saves and Luke Chambers throing his body on the line, then the Blues would have neen three or four behind.
Instead Lees got sent off, Leeds wobbled and Town took advantage just before the break.
Luke Hyam headed a Carlos Edwards cross against the crossbar and David McGOALdrick (geddit) knocked in the rebound.
Colin tried to wind up his Dirty Leeds side at half-time but four minutes after the restart Hyam, one of our own, surges into the box, finds McGoldrick and he hits home.
Loach made a couple of good, if lucky, saves off the line, before wrapping the game up with a third.
JET came off the bench and fired in after being set up by Aaron Cresswell adn might have had another with some superb skill before a dipping volley.
Three goals, three points and a clean sheet -it doesn’t get much better.
