Its’s fingers-crossed at Portman Road today as Sheffield Wednesday close in on signing troublesome striker Michael Chopra.
The gambling addict has been a huge disappointment for the Blues since Cardiff off-loaded him to us for a £1m plus.
Chopra was transfer-listed at the end of last season but it looked as if we were stuck with him until the Owls made their move.
Although he was in the squad at Barnet, Chopra didn’t figure prompting hopes he was about to move on and that was confirmed by the club.
