The Blues have been linked with Championship rivals Blackpool defender Zesh Rehman, on loan from QPR.
The ex-Fulham defender has spent a spell on loan up the A140 at Norwich, as well as Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Pakistani is at Blackpool until January, but has only featured four times for the Seasiders so far this season.
MK Dons and Plymouth Argyle have also been linked with Rehman.
