Over 4500 Town fans are expected to make the trip to Watford for saturdays FA Cup clash, and blues fans are being encouraged to get behind their side by creating a sea of blue and white.

www.footballanglia.co.uk are the driving force behind the bid, with organisers James Hacker, Linda Upson, and Paul Barber contacting the local media in a bid to create a partisan atmosphere at Vicaridge Road.

James Hacker said “We are taking up Jims’ call for a Sea of Colour, and want to give the players a boost, it’s a big occasion and with 4,500 fans there we believe we can really be the 12th man for once”

Jim Magilton recently insisted that the fans could dictate Towns final position this season, as well as the outcome of saturdays clash.

Jim said “We have had a few bumps recently, but with our fans right behind us we have a perfect opportunity to get back on track,” said the Ipswich boss.

“We need our supporters more now than at any time since I took over.

“It fantastic that we are in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

“It is a fantastic occasion for the players and I dearly hope for our supporters as well.’
