Ipswich came from behind for the second home game in a row to taste victory.

Daryl Murphy is allowed time and space to shoot in first minute but his effort was weak and easily pounced on by Yeovil keeper Wayne Hennessey.

McGoldrick also carved up an opening for himself on the edge of the box but his testing shot was saved by the vintage Hennessey.

The Blues top-scorer almost netted on the half hour when he cut in from the right but shot wide across goal.

But those squandered efforts were punished by the Glovers three minutes before the break when Joel Grant smashed in from 25 yards.

Gary Johnson`s men went ahead through Joel Grant before Daryl Muprhy and Aaron Cresswell netted for Ipswich in the second half.

They were punished when Grant, a Bosman free signing from Wycombe, bamboozled the Blues defence with a neat turn and finished with a belting 25-yarder.

Town hit back when Murphy managed to bundle the ball over the line after hitting the crossbar with his first attempt.

Aaron Cresswell put them in front with a rare right-footed finish after cutting in from the left.

Glovers` midfielder Ed Upson, who scored the winner for Ipswich to win the FA Youth Cup against a Saints side that included Blues scorer David McGoldrick, and a certain Gareth Bale, wasted the chance to equalize with a late free kick.
